Believe in Santa

Hi Everyone, New card for the Merry Christmas Challenge, which is always anything goes. This week I have decided to use the stamp set called Santa's List for the focal image and the sentiment is from the Snowflake Soiree set. Santa was stamped with Cherry Cobbler ink, and cut into a square and mounted onto Craft. The background paper is from the Season of Style DSP pack. it was cut 3 3/4 square and added to a base of kraft card stock which was cut 5.25 by 4. The sentiment was stamped on this base with Cherry Cobbler and ribbon was tied in a simple knot under the image. and all mounted on a base of Cherry Cobbler.

P is for Pink

Here we are once again with a new challenge this week at Sunny Day Crafting with P is for Pink challenge. For this card I have gone back to my roots as they say. When I first started making cards almost 20 years ago, I started with a craft called Pergamano, then I moved onto 3d paper tole cards and embroidery and then from there moved onto doing Incire, Iris Folding, Teabag folding, and a number of other techniques. The last thing I tried was rubber stamping. so I am now finding Id like to combine some of the earlier things I used to do and some of the newer things I have learnt. so this card takes me back to the days when I did the 3d cards.

I have used a white oval and a pink piece cut with the floral frames from Spellbinders for the backing of these beautiful flowers that were done in the 3d effect. I have used some embossed silver stickers in the corners as well as for the greeting.
