Another gift card holder, this time based on the sketch at Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge. I love the sketches there, and this one is no exception. I have used the stamp set Snowflake Splendor from Verve for the background, other than the Sentiment, which is from a set I got from as a free one with a magazine. The gift card is made the same as the previous post on Sunday.
Thanks for looking
At Holly Jolly this week we have a Bingo/Tic Tac Toe challenge for you this is the grid we are using, so pick a line going in any direction and make a Christmas card. Its that easy. We have to great sponsors Fred She Said and Stamp and Create. I have been so busy this week and almost forgot to make my card. so I have used my own image this time.
2 designer papers
Here is my card using the top row of Ribbon, Texture and Glitter
This week at Come and Get It we have a recipe challenge for you, Use Designer paper, Ribbon, Bling and Die Cuts. That's it pretty simple. We are sponsored by Lacy Sunshine and Oak Pond Creations.
I am using one of the Lacy Sunshine Images called Snowflake's Quality Control. Isn't she just adorable. I have colored her with promarkers. and have cut her out using a fancy oval die from Spellbinders, this is a bit smaller, as it isn't a card but a Gift Card Holder, which is so easy to make.
Take a piece of 4.25 by 11 piece of card stock, Score it on the long end at 3.25, 5.25, and 7.75 in. Then fold it into a W. the mountain fold then gets stuck together, then cut with a word window punch, the ribbon is what holds it together.
Thanks for looking. Have a great day.
I will enter this into the following challenges Allsorts- Christmas Crafty Calendar- Bingo Hiding in my Craft Room - Any Holiday Little Claire's - Christmas Completely Christmas: Anything goes with a twist (sentiment)
For my card I have made a bendy card, which a tutorial can be found at Splitcoaststampers, it is a unique card that has slits to close each section, for mine the first is the fence, the second is the haunted house, then the third is a grave yard behind the haunted house.
This is my latest card for Wags 'n Whiskers Stamps. Our new challenge is to use stripes, I have picked Toby's Tasty Treat as my image, as tigers have stripes, so I had the challenge covered, but also decided to add more stripes, selecting the Celebrations DSP from Stampin up. The red card sock was cut using Edgelit dies from Stampin up, ribbon is from my stash, and the cupcake was made using the cupcake builder punch from Stampin Up.
Thanks for looking, have a great weekend.
This is my card for the current challenge at Holly Jolly Christmas Challenge. I am using the sponsors image Eggbert-winter from Bugaboo. We are also sponsored by The Stamping Boutique I had colored him with unusual colors for me, and of course not a single piece of Christmas papers in those colors, so I used Snowflake Soiree set from Stampin Up to make the background, then used scraps of different designer paper for the flags, and 5/8 Daffodil Delight ribbon and the fun sentiment is from the Snow Much Fun set from Stampin Up.
Thanks for looking.
Hi Everyone, back again for another challenge from Open Minded Crafting Fun. This time we are featuring Pumpkins and Jack O'Lanterns. I am using an image from Bugaboo, one of our sponsors called Pumpkin Brat Kid, I have colored it with Promarkers, and then used some fall looking papers. I also embossed the bottom part of the papers, made a pumpkin using oval punches and leave punches, and added some brads and burlap for some fun details.
We are also sponsored by Oak Pond Creations, Sentimental Susan, and Robins Fetish Digital Stamps

I will enter my project into the following challenges
Hi Everyone, this is my project for this weeks challenge over at Come and Get It, our theme this week is Halloween, we are sponsored by QKR Stampede, I chose this witch image to work with, then later thought what are you going to do with it, well this paper is white card stock, and I masked it to make the moon, then masked the moon, and brayered it with black ink, I stamped the witch, and then Colored over areas of her with maroon, olive and mustard, I then fussy cut her out, and mounted her on the moon, so she is flying. I used some joy craft dies for the houses and the trees, put them on and thought it needed more for the scene, so that was when the bats were added, and I thought the greeting worked, so went with it.
So come on over and show us your Halloween projects.
Thanks for stopping by.
This fortnight at Wags'n Whiskers we have a new challenge and that is to use fall colors in your design. for my card I have the stamp called Good Book. I have Colored her with my Promarkers, using rich red ann broken tones, As when I think of fall, it is the brown , gold, orange and red that catches my eye, especially the rich red maple trees. I have it together with the Orchard harvest Designer paper, this paper reminds me of wool sweaters with the different colors. To finish off the card I have used Rasperry ripple stitched tibbon, and a beautiful yellow/golf flower from my stash. I hope you all have a great weekend. I am heading off to Kitchener for a stamping Event, then will come home relax for a few days, then headed down to Windsor to visit family for a week. Thanks for looking, see you all soon.
This is a card I have just made, I am using a Lacy Sunshine Image, Little Sugi Sugarplum Sweet Urchin. I have used promarkers to color her, The background was stamped using Serene Snowflakes stamp set stamped in Crumb Cake and Early Espresso, the paper is retired paper called Sunny Garden. and the dies are from the Snow collection from Memory Box, and the flower on her hat was from Stampin Up which I colored using ink to make it brown to match the card.
