Georgie Valentine

Hi Everyone, This is my first post on the Lacy Sunshine blog as one of the Creative Designers, so excited for this opportunity. So for this month the team has been using the new Stitched Collection, and I am using Valentine Georgie  You can get this cute digital image for coloring by clicking on the link or just go to the Lacy Sunshine shop and click on the New stamps link and find it there. So many cuties that belong in this collection.  Anyway for my project I decided to make a Baby Brag Book.
I have used Georgie, and cut her out after coloring her with my Promarkers. I then mounted her onto a beaded circle cut out with Spellbinders which I added pearls all around. the book is only a few pages so small enough for any new mom or grandma to put a few pictures in and put in there purse. the template for the book came from the Silhouette Store. I have used ribbon to tie it together, and Lullaby paper from Stampin Up.  Here is a close up of Georgie

Add some Sparkle

For this week at Holly Jolly, we have a new sponsor Odd Ball Art, and the challenge is to add some sparkle, I have made two cards using images from this sponsor, For the first one I have used Christmas Elf, and Sparkly and Bright from Stampin Up. the trees are a Memory Box die called Snow covered Pine,  and went with non Traditonal colors, and the second one I used All Tangled Up and Work of Art  and Sassy Salutations Stamp Sets from Stampin Up to make the tree she is going to put the lights on, in more traditional colors. I have colored both of the images with Promarkers, and then used Dazzling Details and Dazzling Diamonds to add glitter.

BIG NEWS and a Valentine Card

Hi Everyone, well first the big news I have been asked by Heather Valentin, to be on the Creative Team of Lacy Sunshine. I am over the moon about this, as I love love love her digital Images, and she is a fantastic person too. Heather thanks for the invite, and I hope I can do you proud.

This is the first of a number of Valentine Cards i have to make. It is using the lovely Wix Hearts a Blaze from Lacy Sunshine, I have used Promarkers to color her, and the colors I have used are Wisteria Wonder, Pool Party and Blushing Bride. I have used some lace, Hearts border punch, Scalloped Square from Spellbinders, and a scalloped circle from Spellbinders for the sentiment which I made using My Digital Studio the new line tool making a circle then using the text with the line tool to follow the path, the heart is from Wishes and More Digital download. The other hearts were cut using the hearts a flutter dies from Stampin Up.

This is my card for this week's challenge at Come and Get It. It is a Steampunk challenge, and I have used a card from our Sponsor Lacy Sunshine called Steampunk Cindy to the ball. I have used Promarkers to color it, and have added a background I cut on my Silhouette, and cogs and gears punched with Stampin up Punch, and added some gorgeous roses in brown and orange, and leaves. to finish off the card.

Humorous Cards for Come and Get It

Hi Everyone, We at Come and Get It want you to strike our funny bone, with your humorous cards. Lets have some fun with this. For my card I have used an image that is a stamp available at Stamp and Create by KennyK, called Golfer, he is colored using polychromo pencils. Love how these pencils blend. I want to get some more of them. I seen this sentiment a while ago, and thought it is perfect for the golfer, so I printed it out in word using the Chiller Font. and then die cut the circles with my Spellbinders Circle dies. I have also used my circle dies for the rest of the circles, and I used the perfect polka dots embossing folder from Stampin Up to emboss them, turning two of them over, to give the idea of Golf Balls,  the background was embossed with the argyle EF. The paper is from a retired set from Stampin Up called Woodland Walk. To finish off the card I used some color dots in Pacific Point. Thanks for looking

Holly Striped Ornament

For our first challenge at Holly Jolly this year it is to feature an ornament/s on your card. I have used an image from Eureka Stamps called Holly Striped Ornament. which I recolored in my paint shop pro program to make the stripes red. I then printed it out, and colored in the holly and used Cherry Cobbler Dazzling Details on the berries. I used a die from Memory box, and did the border on the bottom with it, adding gems for the berries, then the sentiment is from the Sassy Salutations Stamp Set from Stampin Up. The embossing on the background is done with the Lacy Brocade EF from Stampin Up as well.
Thanks for Looking.

I will enter into the following challenges

Guest Designer for Sparkly or New Challenge at Lacy Sunshine

Hi Everyone, I am just so excited to be a guest designer for the Lacy Sunshine Challenge Blog.
The challenge this fortnight is Sparkly and New. So something Sparkly or New, I was able to choose an image from the shop, and chose Cliff the Stork, I have made 2 cards, as I wanted to make a card for a New Baby, so did one for a boy and one for a girl. For my cards I have basically used the same layout, but changed up some of the elements and designer paper. The designer paper for them both is from a package of paper called. Irrestistibly Yours from Stampin Up, which you can get for free with a $60.00 order. It is a fun paper that has embossed images on it, the first being stars, the second being flowers, which is white, and you can sponge, brayer, spritz, do whatever you want on it, to bring out the design, I sponged them both, the one with Bashful Blue, the Other with Pretty in Pink. I used some pins, and pearls,  on the boy card, and a button and ribbon on the girl card. The images were colored using my Promarkers. The Sentiment is from the Teeny Tiny Wishes set which says Welcome Baby. Thanks for looking, now go over and join in, you might be the next guest designer if you want to be.

Happy New Year

Hi Everyone, First of all I would like to wish each of you a very Happy New Year, I hope you have good health, happiness, and prosperity. Well a new year so some new challenges coming your way, and that means new cards. So first off I have a card for Come and Get It Challenges. Our challenge for the first one of 2015, is Snow Much Fun. We have some new sponsors, and some returning, ones, so you will find some prizes from them on each challenge this year. So why not come and play.
For my card I have used an image from one of the new sponsors. Crafty Sentiment Designs.
I have used a simple layout for the card, to showcase the image, and wanted to do some faux stitching, as I hadn't done any in a while. The snowflakes are kind of a mirror snowflake, They are a new item in my stash given as a gift. The paper not sure where it is from came from my stash, and the sentiment is from the Stampin Up set called Snow Much Fun.
