Distress it

This week at Come and Get It we have another cool challenge, called Distress it. Make a project and use the distress technique on it. We have a great sponsor for the challenge too. My image however is not from the sponsor, as we originally had two sponsors, but one had backed out due to changes being done at the site and store. Fitztown is where the image came from called Cameo 3. I have colored it using Copics, and then cut it out using a spellbinders die, and distressed the edges with Crumb Cake ink, I used Crisp Cantaloupe card stock and embossed it using the Elegant Lines Embossing folder, and add some pearls, and distressed it with Crumb Cake as well. and used a distressing tool on the edges It is backed onto Early Espresso card stock,

Amira, Beautiful Dancer

Hi All this is the Beautiful Amira , Arabian Nights Dancer as part of  Arabian Nights collection over at Lacy Sunshine, I have colored her with copics, and then have used a digital paper and digital elements to finish the piece.  The paper and the elements other than the greeting is from Britt-Scrapbook Designs, they have some wonderful papers and kits over there. The sentiment is from Stampin Up from the Word Play set. I have colored her with copics, below are the list of colors I have used.

On the 12th Day of Christmas

my truelove gave to me 12 drummers drumming ..... well at least that is what the image is called from The Stamping Boutique who is one of our sponsors this week, and the challenge is to use Kraft. I colored my image this time with inktense pencils. and then mounted it on red, and mounted onto a paper I had in my stash that has music. The sentiment is from Verve, the stamp set is Snowflake Splendor. The music notes were Black in color, that I got from Hobby Lobby when I was visiting in the states, I sanded them and the black came off of them, and then I painted them with a Gold Ranger paint dauber. I mounted everything on red, then again on Kraft.

Ribbon and Bling

Hi Everyone, A very simple card for our challenge this week at Come and Get It. The theme for this week is to use Ribbon and Bling on your project. I have used an image from one of our sponsors Crafty Sentiments. The image is called A Gentle Touch. What a sweet image, I have colored it with Copics, I have put it onto Lullaby Paper by Stampin up and have used the saying from a set called Just Sayin' from Stampin Up as well. Then the ribbon was added and the bling onto the bottom of the scallops. Thanks for looking

Hi Everyone, Well we have a new challenge at Come and Get It this week and we are making cards for all the females in our lives. Such an easy challenge, so come join us won't you.
I have made two cards for the challenge. The first card I made is an image from Saturated Canary, which can be found at the Stamp and Create Store who is one of our sponsors, and she is giving a $20.00 Gift Certificate for the prize. The image I have used on this card is called Krafty Kate, and here she is
For this card I have used some designer paper, and ribbon from Stampin up, along with the card stock, the flowers are from my stash. and the sentiment is from Stampin up's Petite Pairs stamp set. The die I used is the Lacy Circles dies from Spellbinders along with Circle die.
for my next card I have used the beautiful image called Bella Petals Nifty Britches made by Heather Valentin of Lacy Sunshine. Great images for all sorts of cards, and here she is

For this card I have colored her with copics, I have used card stock, ribbon and the sentiment from Stampin Up, the sentiment is part of the Oval All stamp set and punched using the scalloped border punch. The image itself was die cut out of a spellbinders die called Majestic Elements, and the flowers are from my stash.

Topsy Turvy Mismatch

Hi Everyone, Over at Lacy Sunshine they have a unique challenge, and I wanted to play, so this is my card. It is Lucy Boo's Christmas Package made into a Birthday Card.
Really simple to do actually, just turned the snow into grass, then colored the image using other colors other than Christmas. Anyway lots of fun, so why not join in the fun. Go check out the challenge here. Oh the best part is you don't have to  you don't have to use a Lacy Sunshine image, but if you do you can get a free image for the next challenge. Also here is the recipe I used to color this sweet image.

Oh for the card I also used some Big Top Paper from Stampin Up along with some pompom trim, just for a fun accent, the sentiment is computer generated, added some flowers from stash, and embossed the background to match the paper.

Thanks for Looking
