Come and Get it Farewell Christmas Challenge

Today is a bittersweet day. I have had the honour of running my own challenge blog Come and Get It Challenges with a dear friend of mine Julie Temple for the past 6 plus years, but due to reasons out of our control the time has come for us to say goodbye. We have had so many great designers over the years, and I am proud to say that most of them have become very good friends. I have enjoyed the journey I have been on with this blog, but as they say all good things come to an end.

For our Final challenge we have a Christmas challenge for you, it will run for the month of December and the winners will be announced on the 8th of January.

For my project I have used a Besties image and made it into a candy box. I have colored the image with copics.  have added her to a box, and then put on a piece of chipboard that I covered the bottom with snow tex and then added the banner and trees. thanks for looking and hop you will join us for our last hurrah.

P is for Pink

Here we are once again with a new challenge this week at Sunny Day Crafting with P is for Pink challenge. For this card I have gone back to my roots as they say. When I first started making cards almost 20 years ago, I started with a craft called Pergamano, then I moved onto 3d paper tole cards and embroidery and then from there moved onto doing Incire, Iris Folding, Teabag folding, and a number of other techniques. The last thing I tried was rubber stamping. so I am now finding Id like to combine some of the earlier things I used to do and some of the newer things I have learnt. so this card takes me back to the days when I did the 3d cards.

I have used a white oval and a pink piece cut with the floral frames from Spellbinders for the backing of these beautiful flowers that were done in the 3d effect. I have used some embossed silver stickers in the corners as well as for the greeting.

Happy Halloween Reminder

Hi Everyone, here for the reminder of the Halloween Challenge going on at Color it Create it Show it off, I am using a sweet printable  to make my project, I have cut her out using my silhouette, and layered her up for my Tag, I have colored the background of the tag with Distress Inks, Twisted Citron, Peeled Paint, Spiced Marmalade, Mustard Seed and Seedless Preserves. I have added a greeting from the Seasonal Stamp set, and some bats from the Wicked Cool Stamp set. The pumpkins are stamped from the Fall Fun Fest set and then die cut out with matching dies.
I've added some ribbon for the top and finished off the tag.
Thanks for looking
Cindy
